The 成人教育 Program at 全球十大赌博手机网站 社区 College in 迪凯特, 伊利诺斯州, offers a variety of courses to meet the diverse needs of the community. 学生免费, the 成人教育 program provides instruction to students who are interested in improving their basic skills in math and 阅读, 取得普通教育文凭, or developing their 英语 language abilities.
Each course (ABE, ASE, ELA/ESL) may be repeated up to three (3) times. Individuals interested in enrolling must be at least 16 and attend a required orientation. For more information about the orientation, please read below.
Orientation Sessions for 成人教育 (GED/HSE) Classes and 英语 as a Second Language (ESL) Classes
成人基础教育
Adult Basic Education courses in 阅读 and math are available to students who need to review basic skills for personal development or advancement to higher level, 日月光半导体的课程.
Adult Secondary Education (ASE) and GED Preparation
Adult Secondary Education courses prepare students for the General Educational Development (GED) test. The GED test has four subjects: Reasoning through Language 艺术, 数学推理, 科学, 及社会研究. Types of test questions include: multiple choice, 拖放, 填空, 简短的回答, 延伸反应.
Upon successfully passing all four subject area tests and completing the necessary paperwork with the 区域教育办事处/R.O.E., students are awarded a high school equivalency certificate.

ABE和ASE详细信息
Classes meet 3-4 days over an 8-week session. Courses meet both on campus and off-site and are held at various times. In order to enroll, students must attend an orientation, held prior to each 8-week session. 在方向, students learn about the program’s structure and policies and complete entrance testing to determine their placement in ABE or 日月光半导体的课程. 方向大约是2.5小时完成. 英语 Language Acquisition (ELA)/英语 as a Second Language (ESL)
全球十大赌博手机网站’s ELA/ESL courses are currently offered in 迪凯特, 伊利诺斯州. These courses are for individuals who are native speaker of another language and who need to improve their 英语 speaking, 阅读, and writing skills for academic or employment purposes.

家庭文化
GED preparation classes for parents with children ages 0-3 are offered in partnership with BabyTalk at Central Christian Church. 儿童教育课程, 运输, and parenting services are provided to 家庭文化 students.
The 成人教育 Program refers interested students to BabyTalk for further screening and consultation.
